So love and embrace the equip but don't let yourself slip into thinking that this or that trinket would be better for DPS when there is a very good chance it actually wouldn't be in the long run. to have that big crit rating or AP surplus and in situations most will specialize as dictated by circumstance but if you are like me and you spread your stats out throughout your gear, sockets and etc then this really is an excellent DMG trinket as well. Of course, a lot of people like to specialize. The equip has been mapped out left to right, bottom to top so I won't get into that, and while it doesn't directly boost your DPS you could look at it as increasing your ability to sustain DPS if some of that is derivied from spending mana or you know, not being dead.
